"The Passage of Light Through Ordinary Objects"

1988 Acrylic 36" x 42" by F. Danziger

Collection: private

I am CONSTANTLY amazed at the array of products in stores! Who buys all these things? This particular painting was an idea originally called a "Rainbow of Products." It is simply part of my fascination with light. Light has the power to make the most ordinary thing seem amazing, simply by the proper angle and shadow. If you add transparency- then we're in stained glass window territory: tranfiguration and leaving the world of white light in our wake.
