"Where I grew up... a view of the Union Electric plant in Carnegie" 2004 (click image to zoom out)


My father's family lived in a house a short walk from here. For some reason, I remember it being a "good thing" to be working at "Union Electric." I visited on a cloudy December day and the scene told me stories about how I grew up. It reminded me of comic book trading at Chartiers Terrace, The Lone Ranger and Morelli's Grocery store on Lidsay Road...
