"The Dream of Fighting Fire" Acrylic 1986 62" x 72"

This painting was a reversal of the format I used for several years (see Tarzan Shrine on this path). Instead of a "cardboard" figure in a "real" environment, I used a "real" figure, in a cardboard environment. The firefighter symbolically enacts a rescue ritual with the tacet approval of his trusty dalmatian.
