With beauty before me, I walk.
With beauty above me, I walk.
With beauty below me, I walk.
With beauty behind me, I walk....

This Navajo prayer pretty well expresses how I feel walking in almost any natural setting. Should turnpike traffic be whizzing by beyond the trees, and a KFC be within a 5 minute drive, it doesn't matter.
This is real...experienced...recorded.
The place is a 5 minute walk upstream from the south entrance to Hibernia Park in Chester County, along an abandoned railroad right of way. The sun was setting and filtering through the trees, running across the stream with a golden light.
The "plein air" version of this can be seen as "Brandywine Gold" in that section.
The Aztec aesthetic believed that once a work is made, it lives forever, as concept "even should the jade crumble."
